Father Shinto Mathew was elected to a three-year term on the Diocesan Presbyteral Council, effective December 31, 2025. This is in addition to his current assignment as pastor of St. John Parish in St. Marys, Christ Our Hope Mission in Harrisville, and St. Joseph Chapel in Pennsboro.
Father Martin Smay was elected to a three-year term on the Diocesan Presbyteral Council, effective December 31, 2025. This is in addition to his current assignment as pastor of Our Lady of Fatima Parish in Huntington.
Father James Conyers was elected to a three-year term on the Diocesan Presbyteral Council, effective December 31, 2025.
Father Penumaka Manikyalarao was appointed director of the Mission Office and director of the Propagation of the Faith, effective immediately, for a period of three years. This is in addition to his current assignment as rector of the Cathedral of St. Joseph in Wheeling and pastor of St. Alphonsus Parish in Wheeling.
Deacon Clifton Troy Mastran was appointed deacon at St. Margaret Mary Parish in Parkersburg, effective February 4, 2026
