10-7-24 – Bishop Mark Brennan has made public the following appointment: 

Very Rev. Donald X. Higgs, Assoc. V.E., V.F., is appointed to a five-year term as a member of the College of Consultors. His term began on October 2, 2024, and will expire on October 2, 2029. This appointment is in addition to his current assignments as Associate Episcopal Vicar for Clergy, Vicar Forane of the Charleston Vicariate, and rector of the Basilica of the Co-Cathedral of the Sacred Heart in Charleston.
