Very Rev. Donald X. Higgs, Assoc. V.F., is appointed Associate Vicar Forane of the Charleston Vicariate for a period of three years, effective Sept. 16, 2019. This is in addition to his current assignment at rector of the Basilica of the Co-Cathedral of the Sacred Heart in Charleston.
Father Brian Crenwelge is appointed Vocations Director for the Diocese of Wheeling-Charleston for a period of three years, effective immediately. This is in addition to his current assignment as Administrator of Mater Dolorosa Parish in Paden City, and Holy Rosary Parish in Sistersville; and Temporary Administrator of St. Vincent de Paul Parish in New Martinsville, and St. Joseph Mission in Proctor.
Mr. Chad Carter is reappointed to the Office of Chancellor for the Diocese of Wheeling-Charleston for a period of three years, effective immediately.
Mr. Alex Nagem is appointed Diocesan Financial Administrator (Chief Financial Officer) for a period of five years, effective immediately.
