Catholic in Recovery

Catholic in Recovery (CIR) is a parish based 12-step program that addresses recovery from a Catholic and sacramental perspective. CIR administers to anyone who is impacted by a variety of addictions, compulsions, and unhealthy attachments. Those struggling with addiction and their loved ones are supported through the process of surrendering their life to God’s love and care.

The effect that addiction has had on our families, neighborhoods and state is undeniable. The consequences have been devastating for far too many. Pope Francis calls us to be, “An island of mercy in the midst of indifference.” CIR is just that. It opens the doors of our parishes to those who are suffering while offering support, hope and guidance to a renewed life with and for Christ.”
