Walking with Moms in Need

Walking with Moms in Need is a nationwide, parish-based initiative to increase support for pregnant and parenting mothers in need. It works to ensure that any woman who finds herself unexpectedly pregnant, or parenting in difficult circumstances, can turn to her local Catholic Church and be connected with the resources she needs. Volunteers walk with anyone who is parenting under difficult situations offering them authentic Christian friendship and ongoing support.

This initiative is unique in that it asks every Catholic parish to prayerfully place themselves in the shoes of a mother or parent in need and walk with them throughout the difficulties and challenges they faces. Walking with Moms in Need also hopes to identify new parish leaders and empower clergy and laity to make a positive impact together.
