Rollercoasters

There are two ways to ride a rollercoaster.

You can be coerced to get on, grip the bar with fear, close your eyes, fight the motion, and feel lucky you survived.

Or

You can vie for the best seat, pretend you’re driving it, push it up the hill, feel the wind in your hands going down, steer into the turns, and feel great about the experience.

In either case, the ride doesn’t change. It’s the story you tell yourself that makes the difference.
