One Million Rosaries for Life

The 2026 ONE MILLION ROSARIES FOR LIFE Prayer campaign is scheduled to happen May 8th, 9th and 10th. Persons participating in this multinational pro-life prayer campaign will pray at least one Rosary For the protection of unborn human persons and true respect for life from the moment of conception through natural death.

In addition to praying the Rosary, you are encouraged to let other people know about the ONE MILLION ROSARIES FOR LIFE. Various ways to do this can be found by clicking on the Promoting the Prayer Event link (located on this page).

PROMOTING THE PRAYER EVENT

  • Ask that the following announcement be placed in the parish bulletin:

The 2026 multinational ONE MILLION ROSARIES FOR LIFE prayer campaign is scheduled for Mother’s Day Weekend: Friday May 8th, Saturday May 9th, and Sunday May 10th. The Rosary will be prayed for the following intention: For the protection of unborn human persons and true respect for life from the moment of conception through natural death.  Please, do for the unborn babies that which they cannot do for themselves: Pray at least one Rosary each day from May 8th – 10th for this intention.

  • Print out the Bulletin Insert/Poster and ask that photocopies be made and inserted into the parish’s bulletins. (You may also make copies and pass them out to people you know.) The Bulletin Insert/Poster can be found on this website https://dwc.org/rosaries-for-life.

  • Ask your parish priest(s) to make this (or similar) announcement to parishioners:

The annual ONE MILLION ROSARIES FOR LIFE prayer campaign is scheduled to happen Mother’s Day Weekend:  May 8th, 9th, and 10th, 2026!  A person or family may participate by praying at least one Rosary for the following intention:  For the protection of unborn human persons and true respect for life from the moment of conception through natural death.  Information sheets are available for the campaign including how to register as a participant. (If this last part is said, information sheets would need to be available for distribution. This could be the Bulletin Insert/Poster which can be found on this website.)

  • Contact your bishop and ask that he encourage each priest in the diocese to participate in and promote the ONE MILLION ROSARIES FOR LIFE prayer campaign. Please also ask your bishop to be a participant and to pray for the event!

  • Contact family members and friends and invite them to join you in the ONE MILLION ROSARIES  FOR LIFE.  

  • Either you (or someone you know) may make an announcement about the ONE MILLION ROSARIES FOR LIFE prayer campaign prayer event to a prayer group, a parish organization, etc. Persons may be encouraged to participate in and promote this pro-life prayer event.

  • You may ask that the Bulletin Insert/Poster be included in your diocesan (or archdiocesan) newspaper.
  • The Bulletin Insert/Poster may also be used as a poster.

  • Ask that the Bulletin Insert/Poster be passed out to students. (Friday, May 8th is the first day of the ONE MILLION ROSARIES FOR LIFE prayer event and a great  opportunity for students to pray the Rosary together at schools.)
