Feast of St. Matthias

Today’s First Reading tells of the selection process to replace Judas Iscariot as one of the Twelve. Matthias, who was nominated along with a man named Joseph, was selected by lot. Both men had been in the company of Jesus from the baptism of John until the Resurrection and Ascension of Jesus. How does your life give witness to the Risen Lord? Today’s Readings: Acts 1:15–17, 20–26; Psalm 113:1–2, 3–4, 5–6, 7–8; John 15:9–17.
