Value vs. Fear
I value driving because I’m afraid to fly.
I value my relationship because I’m afraid to be alone.
I value my job because I’m afraid to start over.
I value the status quo because I’m afraid to fail.
I value my anonymity because I’m afraid of being seen.
These aren’t really values. They’re hiding places.
Real value appears when the fear is overcome.
