Di-Bacco-500Rev. John V. Di Bacco, Jr., attended St. Mary’s Seminary in Baltimore and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in chemistry from Wheeling College in Wheeling, W.Va., and Master of Arts in applied spirituality from the University of San Francisco in California. He was ordained a priest May 13, 1967, by Bishop Joseph H. Hodges at the Cathedral of St. Joseph in Wheeling. Di Bacco has served in five parishes in West Virginia including Immaculate Conception Parish in Clarksburg, Corpus Christi Parish in Wheeling, St. Theresa Parish in Morgantown and St. Joseph Parish in Martinsburg. He is currently the pastor at St. Mary Parish in Star City, W.Va. Di Bacco was also the director of the Seminary House of Studies which was located in Wheeling.
