07-10-23 – Bishop Mark E. Brennan has made public the following appointments:

Very Rev. Joseph M. Konikattil, Assoc. V.F., is reappointed designated pastor of St. Mary Central School and Notre Dame High School in Clarksburg, for a term of one year, effective immediately. This is in addition to his current assignment as pastor of St. Peter the Fisherman Parish in Fairmont.

Father That Son Ngoc Nguyen is on a medical leave of absence from priestly ministry, effective July 10, 2023.

In consultation with Very Rev. Mathew Olickal, MCBS, Zion provincial superior of the Missionary Congregation of the Blessed Sacrament in Kerala, India, Father Priyesh Sebastian, MCBS, is appointed administrator of St. Francis Xavier Parish in Moundsville and St. Martin of Tours Chapel in Cameron with residence at the parish rectory, effective July 10, 2023.

In consultation with Very Rev. Adam Oleszczuk, SVD, provincial superior for the Society of the Divine Word Chicago Province, Father Lusius Mite, SVD, is appointed priest in residence at St. John the Evangelist Parish in Summersville with residence at the parish rectory, effective immediately.
