Additional Information

The Buildings and Properties Office is responsible for coordinating construction and renovation projects throughout the Diocese. The office is the liaison to parishes, missions, and schools for all construction-related activities. 

  • Oversee all Construction & Renovations to buildings and properties. 
  • Negotiate all contracts for professional services and construction 
  • Assist with getting bids and doing contracts for all construction. 
  • Complete and approve contracts/agreements for the purchase and sale of all properties 
  • Develop and approve all leases for any property to be rented 
  • Approve and review all right of way or easements on all property with other agencies 
  • Review and route for approval oil and gas leases for all property 
  • Perform inspections on all properties for any safety or environmental concerns or facility upgrades 
  • Manage the Asbestos program for schools and all properties 
  • Assist all with adhering to our Diocesan Guidelines for Construction and Matching Grant program 
  • Perform property records/deed research as required for any property concerns 
  • Process vouchers for all construction and repair invoices from vendors that come through the Chancery 
  • Assist with all insurance claims through Catholic Mutual as required.
