12-06-22 – Bishop Mark E. Brennan has made public the following appointments

Very Rev. Joseph M. Konikattil, Assoc. V.F., has been incardinated into the Diocese of Wheeling-Charleston, effective immediately.

Father Anthony G. Thurston has been incardinated into the Diocese of Wheeling-Charleston, effective immediately.

In consultation with Archbishop Anil Joseph Thomas Couto of the Archdiocese of Delhi, Father Frederick D’Souza is appointed parochial vicar of St. Michael Parish in Wheeling with residence at the parish rectory, effective immediately.

In consultation with Bishop James Thoppil of the Diocese of Kohima, India, Father Joy Raphal is appointed administrator of St. Sebastian Parish in Kingwood, St. Zita Mission in Masontown, and St. Edward the Confessor Mission in Terra Alta with residence at the parish rectory in Kingwood, effective Nov. 17, 2022.

Father Charles E. McGinnis, Jr., is now on a leave of absence, effective immediately.
