“We’ve always done it that way”
…is not a reason. It’s an excuse to hide. Hide from the possibility of something better. Hide from the effort it takes to care. Hide from the responsibility of trying something new. Hide from the risk of failing. It’s hiding behind the familiar, the ordinary, the status quo, the safe way.
Better to say “We’ve tried the other ways and found this works best.”
If you can’t say that, it’s time to come out from hiding.
