BLUEFIELD, W.Va. – Catholic Charities West Virginia (CCWVa) will host a Sabika Jewelry Bingo Fundraiser on Sunday, May 5 at Graham Middle School in Bluefield, Virginia. The doors will open at 1 p.m. and bingo will begin at 2 p.m.

“I’m really excited about the Sabika Bingo. I believe this event will provide a fun opportunity for our agency to network with the community and to boost their knowledge and support of our services,” said Matt Atwood, CCWVa Southern Regional Director.

Sabika Bingo takes a fun twist on bingo. Rather than winning cash, the winners of each game will win a hand crafted jewelry set created by Sabika Jewelry. There will be raffle baskets, door prizes, 50/50 and concessions.

“I know the impact this event will have on Catholic Charities WV. The financial aspect will be a blessing, but raising awareness of our programs to the public will be monumental. Doing God’s work should be rewarding and fun. The Sabika Bingo will be both,” said Annette Morgan, Southern Regional Advisory Council Member.

All funds raised will go to supporting the services and programs like Loaves & Fishes, Webster Springs Outreach and McDowell County Learning Center that Catholic Charities Southern Region provides.

Tickets are $20.00 in advance or $25.00 at the door and include 15 game cards. Additional cards are $5 and additional cover-all cards are $5 as well.
