MARTINSBURG, W.Va.—Catholic Charities West Virginia (CCWVa) will host its Seventh Annual Cuisine With A Cause on Monday, September 10, at the Holiday Inn in Martinsburg, W.Va. Attendees will enjoy some of the Eastern Panhandle’s best food while supporting the vital services CCWVa provides to help those in need.

“The funds raised by this event are critical to work Catholic Charities does in the agency’s Eastern Region,” said event chairperson Ed Wilson. “All dollars raised are used to support Catholic Charities’ programs, such as case management and financial assistance for low-income families.”

The evening will begin at 5:30 p.m. with cocktails (cash bar) and a basket raffle. Guests will then have the opportunity to sample food from several local restaurants, including Asian Garden, Bavarian Inn, Brix 27, Casa Visone, Fiesta Tapatia, Heatherfields, Kings Pizza Falling Waters, Alfredo’s Mediterranean Café, and Mountaineer Meats. The event ends with a live auction.

“We are grateful to have so many generous businesses, sponsors and supporters for this annual event,” said Trina Bartlett, CCWVa Eastern Regional Director. “Their generosity helps ensure the success of our programs that are making an impact by reducing poverty in our area.”

Proceeds from the event will support CCWVa’s programs in its Eastern Region, which includes communities in the Eastern Panhandle and several counties to the west of that. CCWVa provides caring and compassionate services to people in need, and works toward lasting and meaningful change in West Virginia.

The cost for Cuisine With A Cause is $50 per individual, $90 per couple, or $320 for a table of eight.
