WHEELING—Corpus Christi Parish in Wheeling has had great success with its new men’s group program “That Man is You,” members said. The parish has offered the national program for two semesters and will begin the third semester Sept. 18 at Corpus Christi School Sunday mornings from 9-10:15 a.m. The men attending range in age from 18 to 65. “Of all the men’s programs I have seen, this is by far the best,” said Corpus Christi parishioner Joe Pangilinan, who has attended the program. For men who have not attended the first two semesters, Pangilinan said the members can get them up to speed. Program officials said the program is “not your ordinary men’s activity. This is a real program for men who are concerned about their family, their community, and their country. This is for men who see the problems and want to focus on genuine solutions, not mere words.” Program officials describe it as an interactive, multimedia men’s program focused upon the development of authentic male leadership. The program content harmonizes current social and medical science with the teachings of the church and the wisdom of the saints to develop the vision of man fully alive. It is particularly indebted to the teachings of the Second Vatican Council and Pope John Paul II. For more information on this program, visit: https://www.paradisusdei.org/index.php/programs/tmiy/
