Joint Resolution 12 is currently in front of the WV House of Delegates. This would put on the ballot next November an amendment to the state constitution saying “Nothing in this Constitution secures or protects a right to abortion or requires the funding of abortion.” This would negate a 1993 WV Supreme Court decision which has made it remarkably easy to apply tax funds to abortions in the Mountain State.(millions of our tax dollars have been so used). Do contact your delegate to support Joint Resolution 12 – contact info easy to find at drop-down menu at legis.state.wv.us – and thereby allow voters in November to put our state alongside 30 other states in limiting taxpayers’ funding of abortion
